Speaking to the media in Kegalle, the State Minister of Finance said that he hopes to increase the state's revenue.

The Minister of State for Finance said that the price of goods will not increase due to indirect taxes and the price of goods will be determined based on the demand and supply of goods.

Meanwhile, Minister of State for Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya said that a new property tax is expected to be introduced in 2025.

The Minister of State for Finance mentioned here that the property tax is a direct tax and that tax is a specific amount that is collected from those who have high property.
