A notice about the vacant post of MP Sanath Nishantha

State Minister Mr. Sanath Nishantha lost his life in a car accident on the Southe Expressway last night (27).
At the time of his death, he was working as the state minister for rural water supply in the present gove ment.
Last night (24th) Mr. Sanath Nishantha was traveling on the Katunayake-Colombo expressway while he was retu ing to Colombo after attending a wedding party held at a hotel in the Halawata-Bandarawatta area.
Mr. Sanath Nishantha, who is married to lawyer Chamari Perera, is the father of three daughters and one son.
Mr. Jagath Priyankara, who ran in the last election, has qualified for the position of Member of Parliament that is being vacated by Mr. Sanath Nishantha.
